Madera, CA – September is California Wine Month and is the perfect time to experience California wine regions and the annual harvest, with events and celebrations happening throughout the state! California Wine Month celebrates the state’s wine growing history and the contributions of its vintners and growers to the lifestyle and economy of the Golden State. The Madera Wine Trail will host its 12th annual “California Wine Month Celebration” on September 20 at Toca Madera Winery from 6:00-9;00 p.m. honoring California Wine Month. Local wineries, restaurants and food producers will join together to pour wines complemented by the area’s most delicious and diverse foods. Wineries and vintners will be available to discuss the wines and techniques used in local wine growing and winemaking.¬†

  • Madera County is a designated American Viticulture Area (AVA) – a legally designated grape-growing region distinguished by its geographical features, making it an exceptional area to produce quality wines!

During this special event, the Association will proudly announce its annual Person of the Year award which recognizes a wine growing or winemaking professional who has profoundly contributed to the local grape and wine industry.
