We Olive

We Olive brings a unique blend of retail gourmet foods, California grown olive oils and vinegars, small batch wines and a tapas menu featuring our favorite retail products. If you have never visited a We Olive & Wine Bar, then you will be in for a treat!

Our goal is to bring an experience to our guests unlike any other; the “Olive Oil Experience”. Our humble beginnings were started not far from Los Gatos, in the town of Paso Robles, back in 2002. Paso Robles, a Central California Coast hotbed for vineyards and winemakers, is also a prime growing region for olives. We Olive’s founders began to realize that there were tasting rooms and collectives all over town where a visitor could experience local wine, but with all of the olive oil producers in town, there was still no place to taste local EVOO. And so, in the back of the local grocery store, on a pop up card table with sample bottles of local liquid gold…We Olive was born. In 2003, our first official store dedicated to showcasing premier California grown olive oils and gourmet food products opened its doors.
