Suisun Valley has exceptional soil and a perfect micro-climate which enables these vines to develop the choicest grapes. With Millions of years in the making of this unique micro-climate, U.C Davis has rated Suisun Valley Appellation as the best growing region for Petite Sirah in the State of California.
In 2001, the Vezér’s decided to establish their own wines and produced their first vintage of Zinfandel in 2003. Since then, they have expanded their planting of grape varietals on the Estate. Currently, Estate fruit varietals are: Verdelho, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah and Merlot, with expansion of some unique varietals soon.
Staying with family traditions of wine making handed down since 1938, Frank Vezér follows in the foot steps of his father by striving to ensure a consistence of balancing opposing elements with the winemaking process. Frank Vezér’s passion is to create wines that are dynamic, complex, and embody the classical ideals that define the world’s finest wines and represent his family.
