Our winemaker Michael Dawson has a long history of enjoying and collecting some of the world’s best wines. He is also a alumnus of the fabled enology and viticulture program at UC Davis, which has educated some of Califonia’s most sought after stars.
What really sets Michael apart in the wine industry is his understanding of the biology and chemistry of winemaking. With an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and cell biology from UC San Diego, and a medical degree from USC, he has a fifteen year track record as a leading radiologist. His long-standing committment to high standards and technical innovation is behind Seal Beach Winery’s state-of-the-art facility and industry leading processes.
