Meander is the result of my personal passion for Cabernet Sauvignon. I love making Cab and believe Napa Valley is the best place to do that.
Meander’s production is exclusively Cabernet Sauvignon from the world renowned Napa Valley. The wine is a blend of fruit from two historical vineyards, both of which have been family-owned and farmed for generations: Morisoli Vineyard in Rutherford and Lewelling Vineyards in St. Helena. These producers are two of the Valley’s most sought after by winemakers who craft the highest quality Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
I feel very fortunate to work with these growers. It is a thrill to make wine with the fruit that they and Mother Nature produce.
Morisoli Vineyard consists of 53 contiguous acres on the famed Rutherford Bench in the Napa Valley. Family-farmed for over 100 years, Gary Morisoli is the fourth generation of his family to grow grapes on this historic property. The vineyard is predominately planted to Cabernet Sauvignon and the fruit is some of the most sought after in the Napa Valley. Surrounded by Staglin Vineyards, Scarecrow, Joseph Phelps Vineyards and Rubicon, Morisoli Vineyard fruit exhibits classic “Rutherford Dust” qualities and rich Cabernet Sauvignon character.
