Bella Grace offers weekend tasting (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) at our vineyard and winery property off Steiner Road in the Shenandoah Valley outside of Plymouth. A custom designed and engineered wine cave at this location currently houses the barreled wine from the past two vintages, and serves as a focal point of the property with its 12-feet high by 12-feet wide barrel storage design. Future plans include construction of a tasting room and event center on top of the cave. In the meantime, wine and olive oil tastings are offered outside the cave in our garden area, providing panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and neighboring vineyards. Bring a picnic, sample some award winning wines, and enjoy the scenery!
The granitic composition of Amador County’s rolling hills, the cool nights and warm days, all combine to produce wine grapes that not only make the award-winning wines for which the Shenandoah Valley of California appellation has become known, but also the family legacy that owners Charlie and Michael have chosen to cultivate, one harvest at a time. BellaGrace Vineyards plants at no more than 538 vines per acre, with 9×9 spacing. All vines have disease resistant root stock, drip irrigation, and are pruned for low yields. Sustainable vineyard and winemaking practices are employed at all times, respectful of the environment and its needs.
