Nestled among the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains, in the western edge of Cuyama Valley, Alere Vineyards produces rhone-varietals and a bit of zinfandel. At an elevation of 2,400 feet, our vineyard flourishes in a climate very similiar to that of the southern Rhone Valley.
With roots firmly planted in the soils of Santa Barbara County’s northernmost reaches, the vines are nourished by nature and tended by three generations. We are constantly working towards being good stewards of our natural and human resources.
Alere’s wines are available to taste at Avant Tapas & Wines in Buellton.
